Elvis Presley Rolling Stone Cover:
For this project, I created a illustration for the cover of an existing publication, which I chose Rolling Stone magazine. In addition to the illustration, I also had to create a mockup of my cover with the magazine title logo and any "trade dress" associated with the specific magazine

To begin this project, I created a document that included some rough sketches and photos that would help influence my future album cover.
Then making lots and lots of tweaks…
Before I was satisfied with my magazine cover, I made many different prototypes after receiving feedback from my peers. Some aspects I changed along the way was changing fonts, fixing the smoke, and adding a slight gradient in the background.
