TYP3D Magazine:

For this project, I was tasked with making a magazine centered around every 3D typography project that I had created throughout the semester in the Typography class. In addition, I had to include ten examples of typography I personally found and documented within the magazine.

It all started with some sketches…

To begin this project, I sketched a rough layout of how my magazine would be organized. I went project by project, trying to include new design elements, yet maintain cohesiveness throughout the magazine.

Then, preparing my found type photos for the magazine…

Before I could start designing my magazine, I searched through my camera roll to find ten photos that had cool typographical elements within them. After doing so, I then went through these photos and my project photos and used photoshop to remove the background.

Finally, creating iteration after iteration…

After receiving feedback on the various versions of my magazine, I went back into InDesign and altered almost all of my layouts. Some aspects I fixed was masking images, fixing font size, brightening images, etc.
